The Trickster’s Trunk

Directed by Teatro ZinZanni’s Artistic Director Norm Langill with assistance from veteran Teatro performers Michael (Chef Tad Overdone) Davis and Parisian acrobat Eddy Castor of Les Castors, The Trickster’s Trunk explores the magical power of love. Young and beautiful Madame ZinZanni inherited Teatro ZinZanni from her late husband and she runs it with the help of three well-meaning but easily distracted bodyguards. When her former Maitre d’ suddenly shows up without a shadow but with a strange and wonderful trunk, mysterious things begin to happen. Suddenly the waitstaff’s deepest fantasies start to come true. As the evening progresses and chaos reigns, the trunk reveals one last transforming power.

Teatro ZinZanni’s The Trickster’s Trunk is presented in the elegance and intimate comfort of a beautiful, antique Belgian spiegletent. Guests are seated restaurant style to watch the show unfold beside, around, and even above their tables. The ticket price includes a gourmet five course meal and an indescribable three hour performance. The ticket price does not include beverages, (other than coffee served with dessert). Additionally, a $10.00 per guest dining room service charge is applied to the beverage bill at the end of the evening. If guests have a special bottle of wine they would like to bring with them to the show, they are welcome to do so. There is a $20.00 per 750 ml bottle and $40.00 per magnum corkage fee. Guests who would prefer a vegetarian option for their entrée need only alert their server when they are seated. Teatro ZinZanni is a non-smoking establishment.
