About the Show
On the Boards presents the English language premiere of Tim Etchells’ That Night Follows Day – a play for adults performed by children. The production is directed by the co-artistic directors of Vancouver BC’s Theatre Replacement, Maiko Bae Yamamoto and James Long.
The performance acts as a catalogue of the ways a child’s world is determined by that of adults and is delivered entirely children ages 8 – 14.
That Night Follows Day, originally produced by the Belgian company Victoria and performed in Flemish, features a script comprised of short phrases delivered by the group of 17 young performers.
