About This Show

Back in 1983, the U.S. invaded the tiny Caribbean nation of Grenada. With cagey, insightful brilliance, nationally renowned playwright Steven Dietz captures not only the aura of absurdity and chicanery in the capital, but the profound consequences of high-stakes spin doctoring on the international stage.

In rapid-fire scenes that evolve from broadly comic to deadly serious, Dietz tracks the conduct and fallout of the Grenada operation, skewering everything from the role of personal ambition and misguided priorities to the corruption of language and, above all, the warping of truth. Truly a comedy for our times.

Produced by youth ages 14-20. Shana Bestock directs.

Please Note: This play contains strong language and mature themes.
