No one can play a room quite like singer/comedian/improv artist extraordinaire Wayne Brady (Whose Line Is It Anyway? and The Wayne Brady Show), but there were a couple of singers who helped pave his way in the entertainment biz… two guys named Sammy. From vaudeville to venerable Rat Pack Vegas legend, vocalist Sammy Davis Jr. cracked smiles and jokes with the best of them. Meanwhile Sam Cooke helped make soul and R&B the national sensations they remain today.
