Waiting To Be Invited

This play is a compelling study of the courage of four African-American women. Three women work in a doll factory and the fourth is a minister’s wife. They are going to have afternoon tea at a here to fore segregated store lunch counter. They are invited guest of no one. The play explores the relationships between the women at a certain time in their lives. An inspirational play about the strength and spirit of these four women.
