The Studio Theatre’s Acting Conservatory celebrates its 25th anniversary with this rock opera, created by legendary rocker and lead guitarist of The Who, Pete Townshend. Tommy revolves around a young boy who lives in silence and darkness after witnessing his father kill his mother’s lover. After his Uncle Ernie and Cousin Kevin unknowingly introduce him to the game of pinball, Tommy is miraculously cured and becomes overwhelmed by fame and fortune. The production features such hits as “Pinball Wizard,” “Sensation” and “I’m Free.”
