The Secret Garden

The Secret Garden is based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It recounts the story of Mary Lennox, a little girl who journeys to live with her uncle in Yorkshire, England after a cholera epidemic in India leaves her an orphan. Heartbroken over the death of his wife 10 years earlier and distraught over an ill son, Mary’s uncle creates a gloomy household. When Mary discovers and nurses back to life a garden that had belonged to her dead aunt, she restores life to her grieving uncle and his sick son.
