The American Century Theater presents Robert Anderson’s Tea and Sympathy, directed by Stephen Mazzola. An unusual and intense relationship grows between a neglected wife and persecuted student at a boy’s boarding school. Mazzola, who will be doing his fifth play for TACT, says, “Tea and Sympathy is about people in love with the truth; and the journey of those who discover language for those who could not speak. It was a wonderful play when it was written, and the years haven’t diminished it one bit.”
“…well-acted production argues persuasively…the performances draw one into the tale’s intensity.” — The Washington Post
