About the Show

For 25 years, Peter Ostroushko has been a frequent performer on Prairie Home Companion. But he has also written classical compositions that have been performed by the likes of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Minnesota Sinfonia. And, he did a turn on Bob Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks. And, he also plays folk. And jazz. Throw in a stint or three on PBS (including providing music for Ken Burns’ documentaries on Mark Twain and Lewis and Clark), and you’ve got one incredibly accomplished, and multitalented, musician.
