New York City
Hailed by critics as “remarkable” and “a great evening of theatre,” Never the Sinner received Helen Hayes accolades in 1997 when it premiered at Signature Theatre and won the New York Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Play. John Logan’s documentary play tells the chilling story of Nathan Leopold, Jr. and Richard Loeb, two young men who, in 1924, abducted and killed fourteen year old Bobby Franks. Having murdered in the name of love and philosophy, Leopold and Loeb were the centerpiece for America’s first “trial of the century.”
The first four performances of Never the Sinner operate on the following revised schedule:
Saturday, October 21 at 8:00 PM
Sunday, October 22 at 7:00 PM
Thursday, October 26 at 8:00 PM
Friday, October 27 at 8:00 PM
The regular schedule begins with Sunday, October 29’s 6:00 PM performance.
