The Olney Theatre Center for the Arts presents Lend Me a Tenor by Ken Ludwig, directed by John Going. It’s 1934 and the Cleveland Grand Opera Company has managed to persuade world-renowned tenor, Tito Merelli, to star in its production of Otello. However, unbeknownst to the virtuoso, the company can’t afford to let anything get in the way of their success–not even the demise of the leading man, bed-hopping of the company members, or hysterical hijinks of an out-of-control impersonator. Lend Me a Tenor is a sexy, high-speed farce that will leave you breathless with laughter.
