Eubie! follows the life of celebrated composer, pianist, and raconteur James Hubert “Eubie” Blake, born in Baltimore, MD. Blake brought African American artistry to Broadway and elctrified stages with his smash hit musical Shuffle Along. Eubie! is a crowd-pleasing salute to a true American pioneer with a revue of Blake’s hit songs, such as “Please Don’t Talk About Me,” “I’m Just Wild About Harry,” and “Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries.”
