The Four Anglos of the Apocalypse

About the Show

The Four Anglos of the Apocalypse is the story of Montreal’s anglo community told in a hysterical mix of songs, humour and cartoons by four troubadors of trouble: Ricky Blue and George Bowser of the Bowser and Blue comedy duo; Gazette columnist Josh Freed; and Gazette cartoonist Terry Mosher.

The Four Anglos skewer language laws and the apostrophe SS along with Jacques Parizeau, Lucien Bouchard, Lise Beaudoin, Jean Charest, Andre Boisclair and Stephen Harper. They celebrate Quebec driving, jaywalking, swearing, parking and the passion for poutine. They spoof everything from Westmount lawnbowlers to laid back “Island life” in the West-Island to Montreal’s huge community of “Jewish Prostestants” – who know the words to “Jesus Loves Me” because they learned it at the PSBGM schools.
