About the Show
West Side Story is a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, with the star-crossed lovers’ tragic tale being set in New York City. With music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, this theatrical masterpiece follows the rival gangs, the Jets and the Sharks as they compete for the ownership of their turfs. The award-winning score includes, ‘America’, ‘Tonight’, ‘Somewhere’ and ‘Maria’.
