Vote! A New Musical

This high-energy musical follows three high school students fighting their way through the electoral process for the ultimate title of “Student Council President.” In the process of trying to please everybody, the election unravels, alliances change, and the candidates learn what it takes to make themselves happy–and the value of individual dreams. Vote! A New Musical is a collaboration between Steven Jamail (music and lyrics) and Ryann Ferguson (book and lyrics); two Rice University alumni who are thrilled to bring their work to Houston.
