TUTS presents the Houston premiere of the wondrous sidewalk fairy tale, Brooklyn The Musical, as TUTS’ 39th free annual show. The cast features American Idol’s Diana DeGarmo (Brooklyn), Melba Moore (Paradice), who is best known for her Tony Award-winning role in Purlie; Tony Award-winner Cleavant Derricks (Streetsinger), who starred in the original Broadway cast of Brooklyn The Musical; Julie Reiber (Faith), who performed both the Brooklyn and Faith roles in the original Broadway production; and Lee Morgan (Taylor Collins), who performed in the original Broadway production.
Tickets for the covered seats are available on the day of performance between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Miller Theatre Box Office. Any tickets remaining will be given out one hour before curtain.
