About This Show

TJ and 23 are two young songwriters with big dreams that their music will pave the way to better lives. They meet and fall in love at a gritty Nashville club, but things spin out of control when TJ borrows money from the wrong guy to record a demo. Romeo and Juliet meets Cabaret in this exciting Texas developmental premiere with music by JT Harding, which includes the smash country hits “Smile” (made famous by Uncle Kracker), “Somewhere With You” (a hit for Kenny Chesney), “Somewhere in My Car” (made famous by Keith Urban), “Sangria” (performed on The Voice by Blake Shelton), and “Different for Girls” (which was recently performed on The Late Show by Dierks Bentley and Elle King). Music City, USA explores the risks you take to bet on yourself.
