Dance Makers 2027

Dance Makers is a signature SCD performance presented at the Cook Theatre at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, January 14–17, 2027, as part of Sarasota Contemporary Dance’s 21st season of Raíces y Vuelos. As the season’s third main event, this sold-out program showcases bold new works by leading contemporary choreographers—including Orange Grove Dance, Madison Pineda Bender, Gabriel Speiller, Frank Chavez—each offering distinct and innovative movement perspectives. The evening also features a special guest appearance by REVolutions Dance of Tampa, Florida, a physically integrated dance company performing a work by SCD’s Artistic Director.
