Juneteenth with Jon Boogz 2026

About the Show

Museum of Contemporary Art presents
Juneteenth with Jon Boogz 2026

MCASB presents the 2nd annual Juneteenth with Jon Boogz and
collaborators – an evening of film, movement, and community reflection.

June 19, 2026

This event is dedicated to supporting and amplifying the
work of visionary Black artists. Through performance and visual storytelling,
it creates space to honor Juneteenth not only as a historical milestone, but as
a living, evolving expression of Black creativity and resilience.

Jon Boogz is an Emmy award winning choreographer, movement
artist/actor, writer and director. His innovative work pushes the art of
storytelling, film and dance.

Special guests include Dr. Alfiee Breland-Noble (Dr. Alfiee)
and Mohsin Mohi Ud Din. Dr. Alfiee is a powerhouse in the world of mental
health, blending science, heart, and cultural insight to change how we talk
about emotional well-being. Mohsin Mohi Ud Din is a multidisciplinary artist,
community builder, and founder of the global storytelling non-profit MeWe
International.
