Anima Ritual Theater presents
Anima: Theater of the Feminine Underground
Directed by Teagan Rose
May 14 – 15, 2026
Anima: Theater of the Feminine Underground is
a ritual performance art collaborative where women share their secrets, dreams,
revelations, yearnings, veracity, and life's meaningful moments. The
experience holds the intention to inspire individual and collective
transformation through creative expression, and to amplify the voice of the
feminine spirit in all beings.
'Anima' (the feminine aspect of the soul) has been
transporting artists and audiences alike for the last ten years. Founded by
Lisa Citore, each production is brought to life with new and returning artists
who create pieces that are shared as individual rituals. These all-original
pieces span mediums such as dance, song, poetry, theater, comedy, visual arts,
and more. This is an evening of unforgettable authenticity, creativity,
and heart.
