An Iliad

Burbage Theatre Co. presents AN ILIAD, a modern retelling of Homer’s epic tale, written by Lisa Peterson and Denis O’Hare, based on the translation by Robert Fagles. Starring two-time Grammy Award winner Bill Harley, accompanied by Cathy Clasper-Torch, An Iliad tells one of the oldest stories in history through the lens of a master storyteller. The Poet, who has seen it all, recounts the visceral epic in a contemporary vernacular that makes the ancient story come alive for today’s audience.
