The Hassayamper’s Evening: Echoes of Time

About the Show

Step back in time with Sharlot M. Hall as your guide. Join us for an elegant afternoon of Poetry and Music that revives the spirit of Prescott’s cultural past.

This performance is a reimagining of the fundraiser Sharlot M. Hall hosted on January 15, 1907. More than a century later, that evening of music, dancing, and poetry comes to life again—on the same stage—celebrating Sharlot’s dream of preserving Arizona’s history for future generations, years before her vision of a museum would be realized in 1928. Today, Jody Drake—portraying Sharlot herself—brings that vision to life while also serving as producer and director.

Held in the beautiful Elks Theatre, this recreation echoes the 1907 performance, which, according to the Prescott Journal Miner, celebrates “in entertaining form, the customs of pioneer days.”

Experience Sharlot M. Hall’s dream reborn on stage—an unforgettable event where history and performance meet.

VIP and Box seating includes an intimate post-performance reception with the cast at the Hassayampa Inn, offering a chance to mingle and celebrate this historic occasion.
