About This Show

Written and performed by Sara Felder, Out of Sight is a blind comedy that juggles faith, Israel and My Mom. David O’Connor directs.
Shadow puppets are by Morgan FitzPatrick Andrews, with sound design by Matthew Lorenz.

Solo theater artist Sara Felder presents a bold new play about the art of seeing. In it, she tells and juggles the tale of a mother, nearly blind, and her adult lesbian daughter. The intimacy and struggles of the mother and daughter over how they “see” each other and the world unfold as they try to bridge their differences. Felder’s solo theater brings circus tricks, shadow puppets and a Jewish queer sensibility to questions of family loyalty and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Not recommended for children under 12.
