The Chief

The first world premiere of the 2003-2004 season will be a one-man play starring Pittsburgh’s favorite leading man, Tom Atkins. Written by the Public’s Rob Zellers and Gene Collier, The Chief tells the story of Pittsburgh’s revered hero, Art Rooney, the man who changed the face of Pittsburgh and professional football with his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. His journey from poverty to stardom is a bare-nuckles story of love, luck, faith and football.

Changes to the Performance Schedule

Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. on November 22 and 29, December 6 and 13

Thursday matinee at 2 p.m. on December 4

There are no performances on November 19, 27 and December 2.
