Six Characters in Search of an Author

In Six Characters in Search of an Author, the audience is confronted with the unexpected arrival of six characters from one play who interrupt and invade the rehearsal of another play and demand that their REAL lives be attended to and that their stories be told. This most popular of Pirandello’s plays asks probing questions about the nature of reality versus illusion, truth versus artifice and the workings of the creative process. Special symposiums and talkbacks are planned to enhance the audience experience.
