About This Show

It’s Farce time! For our 12th annual Ray Cooney farce, we’re revisiting the one we did first. Not only is it Cooney’s most successful play, it’s also the longest-running comedy in London’s West End. It’s the riotously funny story of a taxi driver John Smith, who’s leading what seems to be a perfectly ordinary life in London except for one small detail: his erratic work schedule allows him to have two wives and two very different existences, all within several miles of each other. It all goes quite smoothly until he gets mugged and ends up in the hospital, and he has to frantically try to keep the two women from finding out about the other. It has all the slapstick, door slamming and frenzied comedy you’ve come to love!
