A LIVING MUSEUM BRINGING HISTORY TO LIFE THROUGH A RE-IMAGINATION OF WHAT AMERICA IS, WAS, AND CAN/MAY BE
A performance piece. An art installation. A way to imagine and re-imagine what America is, was, and can/may be. A dissection of American identity – the good, the bad, and the ugly. A study of human biases and behavior.
An Imagined America is a drag show, a history lesson, and a visual art exhibit – all on the same ticket. Audiences and actors alike will be left asking themselves what exactly America is – and what they want America to be.
An experimental theatre endeavor created by Lehigh Valley-based queer theatre artist Adam Ercolani and produced by Touchstone Theatre, a professional, not-for profit theatre company located in Bethlehem.
