About This Show

Beck Center for the Arts presents Joe Orton’s classic sex farce, What the Butler Saw. Dr. Prentice is a psychiatrist who believes that the best way to interview a girl for a job is to seduce her. Mrs. Prentice, not to be outdone, brings her latest conquest to his office. What ensues is a wild melee of disappearances, disguises, and discoveries as they try to hide their lovers from one another and from the state inspector, who’s there on a surprise visit.
