Pump Boys and Dinettes

Pump Boys and Dinettes, starring Patrick McRoberts, serves up the feel-good music of Americana. Good times are ahead on “Highway 57” as each unique and original character reveals their soul – jamming to their own music makers including the electric and acoustic guitar, piano, bass, fiddle, drums and more; a sound reminiscent of John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen and the Dixie Chicks.

The four guys at the station and the two gals at the dinette perform a musical tribute to living and working in America. Spanning across the genres of rock and folk, the score includes “Highway 57,” “The Best Men,” “Be Good or Be Gone” and “The Night Dolly Parton Was Almost Mine.”

Pump Boys and Dinettes is the longest running show in Chicago theatre history, with successful runs on both Broadway (Princess Theatre during the 1982-1983 Season) and London’s West End (1983-1984).
