When Mark Howard founded the Trinity Irish Dance Company nearly two decades ago, he didn’t realize he was starting a sensation that would take the dancing world by storm. The company, with its world-champion dancers, paved the way for shows like Riverdance, and continues to push the boundaries of traditional Irish dance.

With a program ranging from some of the company’s earliest works — such as “The Mist” and “Step About,” both from the Company’s debut year — to more modern pieces like 2004’s “Goddess,” a fusion of East Indian movement and percussive Irish dance, Trinity Irish Dance Company’s 22 dancers redefine Irish dance with cutting-edge precision and passion.
