Taking Steps

Red Herring Theatre Ensemble presents this off-the-wall comedy by popular British playwright Alan Ayckbourn. Roland is desperate to buy a crumbling neo-gothic house to appease his wife Elizabeth. In the process of negotiations, chaos is unleashed. Elizabeth has decided to leave Roland and tries to sneak out unobserved while her brother Mark, is trying to sneak in with his wayward fiancée. Meanwhile Tristan, the solicitor for the sale of the house, is busy having a “close encounter” with the “spirit” of the house. With everyone hiding something or someone, a brilliant farce ensues.
