2012 Cincinnati Fringe Festival Announcement Party

Know Theatre will host the 2012 Cincy Fringe Announcement Party! You’ll not only have an opportunity to eat, drink, be merry, and peruse this year’s amazing line-up, but will also have a chance to catch a performance of 2008 Fringe Veteran Torie Wiggin’s Your Negro Tour Guide at 8 pm. Based on the writings of award-winning columnist and commentator Kathy Y. Wilson, Your Negro Tour Guide is a provocative,solo performance piece on identity in modern America. Through scathing and thoughtful rants, letters, music and nightmares, actress Torie Wiggins steers us through the modern American landscape of race, gender, and class.

While the announcement portion of the evening is free and open to the public, you’ll have to purchase tickets for Torie’s show – so grab them soon! As with all Cincy Fringe productions, tickets are only $12 with 50% of proceeds going directly to the artist!
