The Way Out Gala – A Night for Others

The Salvation Army of Alameda County is taking the court for The Way Out Gala 2026, an action-packed evening where community heroes, basketball legends, and one powerful mission come together.

This year, we’re honoring Oakland’s own Gary Payton, Basketball Hall of Famer, NBA champion, and one of the fiercest defenders ever to play the game. Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, showstopping entertainment by the Warriors Dance Team, silent and live auctions, and a courtside conversation with Gary Payton and Warriors broadcaster Tim Roye.
