Tru

Tru is a play based upon the life of the eccentric celebrated writer Truman Capote. A one-man show, this compelling, poignant drama is indeed a challenging role for any actor. Robert Morse was the first to create this role on Broadway. To be on-stage for nearly two hours, to exhibit an extraordinary gamut of emotions, and to recreate a complicated yet brilliant man whose eccentric words and odd personality defined an American anomaly is a daunting test for any actor. Veteran actor Lucius Houghton stars in the title role. He has been appearing on-stage in Tru since 1998.
