Speak Up Youth Poetry Slam

Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and SlamCharlotte are proud to announce the launch of the Speak Up Youth Poetry Slam. A new addition to Charlotte’s poetry slam scene, this series is dedicated to bringing the voices of the next generation to the forefront. Promoting writing and artistic expression through the eyes of tomorrow’s future, the Speak Up Youth Poetry Slam will be a monthly exhibition of the hottest and most dynamic young performers in our area. This event is open to all ages, so everyone (parents, teachers, students, siblings and fans of spoken word) can hear how our young people see the world around them.
