Tom Grounds: Something That I Wanted You to Know

Tom Grounds is bringing his critically acclaimed show Something That I Wanted You to Know to the Duplex Cabaret Theatre for two shows (November 18th and 25th at 7:00 PM) and also to the newest jewel in the New York Cabaret world Mama Rose’s also for two shows (November 22nd and 23rd at 4:00 PM).

The show is an autobiographical look at Tom’s life through songs of the ever growing American Songbook. The show includes songs by Craig Carnelia, Brian Lasser, Jason Robert Brown, Brad Ross & Ellen Greenfield, Wayne Moore, Tom Andersen, Babbie Green, and many others. The show explores Relationships, Families, Careers, Hopes and dreams along the road of life. In one or more of these areas, we’ve all had a moment when we look back and ask “What was I thinking?” With humor and sensitivity, Tom shares his experiences of making sense out of adolescence, the ups and downs of falling in (and out) of love, and unpacking the baggage of the past.
