The Schoolhouse Theater presents The Baby Dance, a funny and poignant examination of life, fertility, and the power of money. It brings together a California couple with enough money to buy anything, and a Louisiana trailer park family too poor to afford their fifth child. Ulitmately, it leads to a “dance” between the two couples in their efforts to get and give a child. It is a brilliant and shattering portrayal of the harshest truths of American family values.
