About This Show

The versatile Gray created a series of eighteen monologues that have been performed throughout the United States, Europe and Australia. His latest, Spalding Gray: Morning, Noon & Night, covers some of the events of a day in his life with his family, Kathie, Marissa, Forrest and Theo living in a small town in Eastern Long Island. It begins with the sun coming up over The Old Whalers Church and ends with Spalding being kicked into sleeping by his infant son. In tradition of Ulysses, Our Town, and Under Milkwood, the monologue finds its ground in a town while at the same time it searches for meaning in everyday family life.
