About This Show

Pippin is based on a book by Roger O. Hirson, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. Pippin, the son of 8th Century French emperor Charlemagne is on a quest for the meaning of life. He goes through war, love, politics and other pursuits before settling down into the simple life.
