Midnight in the Front Lawn of Good and Evil

About This Show

Midnight in the Front Lawn of Good and Evil: a hypothesis, written and directed by Spencer Christiano. In this new play, playwright Spencer Christiano takes the recent Emily Good / Police Recording controversy and dramatizes the events preceding, during, and following the arrest of the Rochester activist. A work of fiction, this play attempts to discover what moves a person to perform an outward act of defiance, and what causes an officer to arrest a law-abiding citizen. The play looks deeply into the lives of the people involved in these events and tries to reveal what lies behind the media’s curtain.
