About This Show

Theatre Three, Port Jefferson, presents The Seventh Annual Festival of One-Act Play. In continuing with its tradition of bringing exciting, original work to its Second Stage, Theatre Three offers the world premiere of six plays, selected from over two hundred and fifty submissions world-wide. This year’s bill features The Agony and the Experts, by Charles Lupia, a satirical contemporary view of the painting of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel; Dead On, by David Fleisher, a comical look at blind dates; Making Room, by S.W. Senek, where two dogs gravely concerned about the arrival of a baby in the house; Napkin, by Robert Simonson, deals with the issue of the early stages of dementia and its effects on the family; Markings, by Mark Cofta, is a comedy about the relationship between a party-girl mother and her rather mature and serious daughter; and The Sound of One Hand Typing, by Maurice Martin, is a funny but pointed look at cybersex.
