The Convertible Girl

In Daniel Simon’s comedy, The Convertible Girl, Ron is a Jew who has been shacked up with a gentile girl for a year. The reasons he won’t marry her include alimony to his ex-wife and his deeply religious Jewish mother. So, she will convert. The ensuing comedy shows her trying to master the rituals, and becoming more Jewish than Ron himself.
