About This Show

The NYS Archives Partnership Trust presents a conversation with distinguished historian Robert Caro and nationally prominent Lincoln Scholar Harold Holzer.

Robert Caro is the biographer of Lyndon Johnson (The Years of Lyndon Johnson: The Path to Power, Means of Ascent and Master of the Senate) and of Robert Moses (The Power Broker). He is the winner of two Pulitzer Prizes in biography, the National Book Award, the Francis Parkman Prize (awarded by the Society of American Historians to the book that "best exemplifies the union of the historian and the artist"), two National Book Critics Circle Awards, the H.L. Mencken Award, the Carr P. Collins Award from the Texas Institute of Letters, and an award in literature and a gold medal in biography from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters.

The Members of the Board of the Archives Partnership Trust invite you to join them for a pre-performance reception honoring 2011 Empire State Archives and History Award honoree Robert Caro.
