About This Show

Witchland is an Off-Broadway play. It is extremely funny and terrifying at the same time. The story is written by Tim Mulligan and presented by Manhattan Repertory Theater. The show centers around a gay couple named Van and Jared, and their daughter Ali. When Jarden is offered a high-paying at the Hanford Nuclear Site, the family is forced to relocate to the most toxic town on the western hemisphere, Richland WA. Quickly after moving, they discover that they may be facing far more sinister problems than the toxins in the air. They discover a frightening woman living across the street who is said to be a witch. The locals advise them that if you take a stick from her yard, you will be cursed. When Van dares Jared to take a stick, he seems to be overwhelmed by dark forces. This show is truly one of a kind. It utilizes special effects, lighting, and sound to immerse the audience.
