Lincoln Square is transformed into a winter fantasy and Broadway becomes a magical holiday lane for the 7th annual Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square. Street musicians, strolling singers, and lovable clowns entertain children and adults as they stroll up and down the avenue. Local venues provide the backdrop for live contemporary, folk, blues, jazz and classical performances throughout the evening. And this year, for the first time, Lincoln Square Business Improvement District introduces the Winter’s Eve Treasure Hunt, complete with exciting and mysterious clues and wonderful prizes. The legendary Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul & Mary) and renowned violinist Joshua Bell are two of the many artists performing at the event.
Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square begins immediately after the annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Lincoln Center. The tree lighting begins at 5:30 PM. Events are scheduled for rain, snow or shine.
