Vital Children’s Theatre’s Benefit Birthday Party

About the Show

Vital Children’s Theatre turns five this year and to mark this occasion it is inviting children and their families to a Birthday Party to benefit the company. Vital Children’s Theatre’s Benefit Birthday Party will take play at the Synod House, on the grounds of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

This Benefit Birthday Party, geared completely towards families and their children, will include activity stations for the kids to tour and create fun projects to bring home such as t-shirt decorating, face painting, pottery making, bead-necklace making, take-a-picture opportunities with your favorite Vital Children’s Theatre character, party games such as pin the tail on the donkey, a dance floor with kid-friendly songs, and name that Vital Children’s Theatre musical number with prizes.

The event will also include performances by special guests such as the magician Professor Putter and guitarist and children’s sing-along favorite Ryan Paulson. Throughout the afternoon there will be musical presentations from past Vital Children’s Theatre shows including “Animal of the Year,” “The Nastiest Drink in the World,” “The Changeling,” “The Ballad of Irving the Frog,” “The Elves and the Shoemaker,” “The Tempest,” “The Falcon’s Magic Feather” and “Calling All Toys.” There will also be a silent auction and raffles all day long for tickets to Broadway shows, travel and dinner packages and more.
