New York City
It is the second day of a weekend bicycle fundraising ride for AIDS, riders and crew are on the route, but the Water Team is late in getting supplies out to the pit stops. They’ve lost their way and can’t find their route directions, so they set out on foot, following an old route map in hopes of finding help. Meanwhile, back at last night’s campsite, a bike technician and three riders face hangovers, disabled bikes, a cell phone with a dying battery and a battle-hardened chicken whose insistence on honesty forces uncomfortable conversations around love, HIV status and the past. Alliances form, tempers flare, but all must work together to take care of an ailing team member and get back to The Ride.
