About the Show

ABOUT THE IPHIGENIAMACHINE An experimental deconstruction of Euripides’ Iphigenia at Aulis in the age of AI and forever wars. This dissection of the classic Iphigenia at Aulis takes place in a technofeudal, post-apocalyptic ice age. There, amidst the unfamiliar rubble of her life, a nameless girl searches for her identity and freedom from her father’s war machine. After the traditions of Magda Romanska and Heiner Müller, The Iphigeniamachine dismantles the original mythology to expose a perilous underbelly of atrocity, complacency, and glorified masculinity.
