The Devil & The Playwright

Jordy, a successful, yet struggling playwright, makes a pact with the Devil, offering her soul for the Devil’s help in writing a “truly original play”. They embark on a journey through different scenes and settings, and meet a curious cast of characters, all of which are played by the same two actors (referred to as “The Players”). They also meet the bored barkeeper Joanne, whom Jordy instantly falls in love with. Very quickly, Jordy starts to question the journey she’s on, who actually is in charge of the narrative, and if Joanne is a character or a real person. The whole thing goes off the rails when Jordy decides she wants to escape the play and take Joanne with her.
