Now in its 30th year, the world renowned group returns to BPAC for two residencies in the fall and in the spring. The ensemble has become known for their interpretations of Mozart, Beethoven, Shostavokich, as well as being an advocate for new music with over 25 commissions to date. The Alexander String Quartet has played throughout the major music halls on five continents, including Lincoln Center and The Metropolitan Museum in New York, Jordan Hall in Boston, and The Library of Congress. This season’s concerts will feature three world premieres, as well as the group’s traditional repertoire.
